What: AITC-M Annual General Meeting for members, contacts, industry people etc.
 
Theme:  “Public Perceptions of Agriculture: Facing it Head On”

An engaging panel to include media and industry representation as well as a producer will offer three different but related perspectives. Our media rep will offer our members insight on what the public perception of the agriculture industry is; what they hear from public and what the public may want to learn about with respect to agriculture; how can we do a better job of reaching mainstream media in a proactive way and help get the “story of today’s modern agriculture” before the public. Industry’s perspective will discuss how we can work together to address current perceptions head on, while the farmer/producer will give the perspective on perceptions of agriculture from the farm gate. This will prove to be an interesting dialogue that you won’t want to miss! Panel members will soon be announced!
