Agriculture In The Classroom continues to encourage teachers to include agricultural content in their lessons. Executive Director Johanne Ross explains, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, they've announced the creation of an award recognizing teachers who lead the way in agriculture education. One teacher will be recognized annually as our province's agriculture literacy all-star. This teacher will receive a free trip to an international ag in the classroom conference where they can meet and share ideas with other teachers from around the world. Ross says there are many teachers in our province working to ensure that agriculture-related lessons are learned in the classroom.
