About the Food Evolution movie

“…the film explores all the ways science has been used and abused in public discourse surrounding the genetic engineering of food. In a world of misinformation and disinformation, nothing can be more timely.”    - Neil deGrasse Tyson

Food Evolution  is a 2016 documentary that follows the controversy surrounding GMOs and food. Traveling from Hawaiian papaya groves, to banana farms in Uganda to the cornfields of Iowa, the film discusses the emotions and the science behind food production. It advocates for and against GMOs as they each claim science is on their side.
