Grades 9 - 12 Programs

Future Influencers at Grow Canada Conference

Grade 11 & 12 students - Want to have your opinion heard by the current leaders in Canadian Agriculture?  Apply to be a Future Influencer at this year's Grow Canada Conference.  All travel, accommodations and conference registration costs will be covered for the chosen students and their chaperones. Global Youth Institute

Grade 10 & 11 students - Here is your opportunity to meet with students from around the world and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities for agriculture in different countries.  Be present for the awarding of the World Food Prize and attend the International Borlaug Dialogues symposium. The selected MB student representatives receive airfare, accommodation and all Global Youth Institute conference expenses paid for both the student and their teacher/mentor for the three day event. Grades 5 - 8 Programs

Speaking of Agriculture Speech Competition

Students age 11 to 15 years - Got something to say about Agriculture? Pick a topic, prepare your speech and enter the Agriculture in the Classroom - MB speech competition at Discover Ag in the City Event at the Forks each March. Prize money for 1st, 2nd and honourable mentions. Plus the winner of the competitiion receives an all expense paid trip for themselves and a chaperone to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto to compete in the Canadian Young Speakers for Agriculture Competition in November.
